Hi All,

On Sunday Ian and I are flying off to Toronto for 10 days holiday and to meet up with our daughter, Hannah, who has been working out there for the last couple of months.
I'm so excited and can't wait to see her. We've talked on Skype and e-mails but I can't wait to give her a hug!
It's 2 years since our last proper holiday so I'm looking forward to time away from the cooking and cleaning!

Hope you all behave yourselves while I'm away.

Love Doreen xx

Enjoy your wonderful holiday!!! It will be so lovely to see Hannah, it must be so exciting knowing you are all meeting up when you arrive. The mother of thw two boys I care for was brought up in Canada and has the accent, she is always raving about it and trying to teach the almost 3 year old the national anthem lol!!

Will be jealously thinking of you, lots of love x x x xBigGrin ThumpUp

Have a wonderful time, Doreen, and enjoy every minute of it! Tell Hannah Nick & I are asking after her.

Take care,

Kathleen.

PS We all know how to behave - question is, can you??

PPS Think of us down in York, doing the school run with our two grandsons - no swanning about for us!!

Thanks everyone!
I've always wanted to go to Canada but never thought I would, but Hannah has insisted we go out to visit her, so we have to do what we are told!
I'll tell her you were asking after her Kathleen, and yes I will think of you doing the school run in York , in the rain probably!

Ian's taking his laptop so I might just report in, if I'm not too busy having a good timeLaugh

Doreen xx

Hi Doreen

Hope everything goes really well and you have a brilliant time. I am very excited on your behalf so do take lots of photos for us to see Smile No helping out with the tea trolley on the flight ... you know what problems that can cause Scared Rescuing you from halfway across the Atlantic might not be that easy!

Enjoy your time with Hannah Smile

Hi Doreen

Ooh lovely, have a wonderful time with your precious daughter Hannah. Dont we miss them when they are abroad?!!

We lived in Canada for a year (many years ago) and it's a wonderful country and so friendly. You will be in time for the beautiful 'fall' colours, lovely red maples, a photographer's dream.

Hope you have good smooth journeys and distract yourself with some good films to make them go faster. Going there is always OK anyway, 'cos you are so excited!

I had really wanted to be in the US right now, visiting our eldest son, but hubby said he didnt think I was up to it. Very disappointed, but I do understand his worries. We will be seeing them all at Christmas, cant wait for it this year!

Have a wonderful, special time and take care,
Love Lizxx
